I should have clarified my comment on the 105 VR macro. It is not available
in the USA. I can't speak for other countries. Possibly the demand in Japan
is great enough to take them all, and possibly they give Japan preference.

Or maybe there is a manufacturing problem? Or maybe as someone said they
want to sell out the non-VR 105 macros first? And if so, they are shipping
them selectively to countries.
