No. completely wrong.
(But so wrong that I wonder if this person wants to *dialog*)
What's in focus in the finder (stopped down, of course)
is what's in focus on the film or in the image file.
That happend BEFORE any printing/enlargement is done.
The DOF scale is built to the lens and related to it and the results it
produces
regardless of the medium used to capture the image.
