That is /not/ what I said! I said /I/ don't like web or FTP and
gave you 3 Usenet choices. /You/ picked the one that nobody can
see, it wasn't my choice. But, I silently predicted you'd pick
it because you like the PSP NG where Greg Farr and some others
post. Then, you complained to me multiple times for how long it
took for you to see what I saw /prior/ to saying the images were
out there, and you have yet to say anything constructive about
them. I looked this morning and there are /no/ comments on any
of my images. And, David, I honestly cannot recall the last
timee that /you/ posted anything, anywhere.

At this point, I really don't care about the original noise
issue anymore. After trying my fav camera store's allegedly
working camera and seeing the exact same noise - you know, the
noise that you claim Rebel XT's don't produce yet you've never
actually tried one? - I am now working on my technique to
minimize the noise through altering the XT's photometric
settings and guarding against underexposure. The first step
toward the latter was to buy a Canon 430 external, with GN=110,
take it back to the WPC this morning, re-shoot the lot, and try
both high ISO available light and full manual flash at ISO 100.

When I get home and evaluate what worked and what didn't, /I/
will choose the place(s) to post full-size 5.5 MP unedited
images, and post a "info" message here to anyone who a) actually
wants to look, b) actually wants to help by looking at the EXIF
and the images on their monitor, and maybe see things I don't,
and c) wants to make constructive comments. This time will be
different - if you and the others don't cooperate, Okey Dokey by
me. I'll just ignore your smart ass retorts. That'll be
particularly true of people who do not own a Canon Rebel XT,
have never used one, and them that don't have the time or
inclination to actually look at what I post before taking me on.

And with that, I wish you, David, and all the other members of
this NG, a Very Happy New Year, and a prosperous 2006!
