I have a Minolta Maxxum 7D with a vertical control grip that takes two
batteries at a time. I also have two Hitachi 4GB Microdrives. Several
times this past summer I attended air shows where I filled both Microdrives
but was still on the first set of batteries at the end of the day. They
were getting low, but hadn't yet triggered the camera's low battery
warning. Pretty impressive...
