Mounting a Dichro DG head to a Beseler CB-7?

I got a good deal on a Dichro head. Beseler no longer makes the
adapter to mount the head to the CB-7. Of course I've never seen the adapter
either. So any hints? From just resting the head on the enlarger it seems
all the adapter would do is provide a smaller hole. My first thought was
plywood but I'm worried about dust. Also any ideas for mounting the power
supply? If it had a longer cord I could just leave it next to the enlarger
but it's short enough that it looks like I'll need to mount it to the head.
The connector from the head to the power supply is a five pin plug. Likely
not something I can pick an extension cord for.

Thanks
Nick
