You could try MaxCal - it's a high-calorie prescription dog food. My very finicky chihuahua ate it after turning her nose up at several other foods.

Or try topping the meat or chicken with a good, smelly cheese (cheddar, parmesan...). Or pour a little melted cheese over it. Or a little melted butter or (a very little) bacon grease.

Another thing that it's said that dogs love (haven't tried it) is canned tripe, available most likely in specialty pet stores. I'm told that it stinks to high heaven.

Do you mix the pills in with the dog's food? Chile got pill-wise and stopped eating any foods that had previously been served with crushed pills. So I had to resort to pushing the pills down her throat, a procedure that neither she nor I enjoy. But now she will eat some foods that she had previously refused.
