I think I 'm getting dizzy trying to read these posts! I have a 16 yo
goddaughter who IM's me pretty regularly, and she doesn't use the
"abriviations". Wonder how old this OP kid is?
Who knows - maybe she's just a rude adult. We have a 12 year-old
niece who's here a lot, and IMs friends while she's here. I don't
know whether she uses that lingo the OP used, but I do know that she's
capable of using regular old English, and that she would if she were
asked to do so. She also wouldn't let her dog get pregnant...
