Re: Food

As to the "peculiar view," I was down at one of the local

back onto a maintenance formula I was talking to the food
buyer about what's new. I was also pretty curious to know
if it really is Hill's position that ingredients don't
matter so I asked her what the Hills sales rep said, and
yup, your sales guys tell buyers that ingredients don't
matter.

Oh brother. Boy do you love to take things out of context. As long as
people out there are going to focus on ingredients over all else (even
nutrition), Hill's will try to actually EDUCATE people about NUTRITION.
Everybody else on the market is interested in selling dog food and
that's why they use the smoke and mirrors tactic of appealing to
people's emotions by sticking to the argument of what constitutes a
"good" ingredient and what constitutes a "bad" ingredient (that and
they just don't have the nutritional background to understand
nutrition, so they focus only on ingredients). Hill's is selling
nutrition. Most people don't have the time or knowledge to think any
deeper than what appeals to their emotions. Apparently you, too, are
one of those people.

On a positive note, she did say that one of your feeds works
well for customers - the light formula. And then she said
"That's not surprising, there's nothing in there."

This just goes to show how disingenuous you are. You are the master of
backhanded "compliments". If she really said that, then she doesn't
understand how the Light formula works. And apparently neither do you.
That's not surprising, since you rarely provide any new or accurate
information on the subject of nutrition. All you have in your bag of
tricks are personal attacks. If your source of information is a feed
store employee (who apparently doesn't understand nutrition), then you
really should broaden your horizons.
