Keep her crated overnight, she can crate in your bedroom. They get used to
it pretty quickly with positive reinforcement. That would solve the problem
of her doing it during the night. Also, you can build ramps for her to use
to get to furniture etc.
My vet said that the cartilage is a great supplement, and that there are
currently larger scientific trials going on to test the efficacy of the
product.
Good luck. I seriously would start crating her over night. Safer for her,
and peace of mind for you too!
