Thank heavens I didn't have to fly Hamish home. He barked the whole way
(2 hours) from the breeder's house back to our house.

Hammie went to his first hunt test today. Storm isn't ready for Master
or Finished stakes this fall, so I let my son run her in Started. He
got his first pass and is a very happy boy. (I also ran her in Upland
and - minor brag - got our first pass in that stake. Upland is a hoot!
The dog gets to flush birds and demonstrate steadiness.)

Hammie met up with his sister, Arrow, and the two of them had a good
frolic and also got to play with a freshly killed partridge. All in
all, a very good day.
