Interesting. In looking at this clip (trained Betta) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfQK_cDHGwA I wondered if food was delivered every time. The bright orange food delivery section could be acting as a bridge/secondary reinforcer, since it appeared before the fish could get to the food, and fish (some? most?) have good color vision.
