But you'd think that an adult would recognize that posting
"If I weren't a Christian I'd say <xxx>" will probably
condemn her to the sulfury pits of hell for all eternity,
and an adult would probably have asked permission to repost
stuff, and an adult would probably have cobbled together an
incredibly flattering apology it it were found that she'd
reposted stuff without asking.

So, I dunno. I could go either way. Although I have to say
that if my mother got me a dog (shhyeah - like that would
happen [my mother doesn't exactly think I need more dogs])
we might have a big, old-fashioned blow-up.
