It's probably not a good idea to do this unless you're
teaching a clicker class, but I always appreciate being
given another clicker.
I was going to say the same thing.
But aside from that, one of the
nicest things done in a graduating class we've been in was
being able to choose one thing from a goody box. That way
we were able to choose something most appropriate for our
own dog.
Not that we've done any puppy classes, but I think that most of the 'goody
bags' had a small bag of treats (like the tiny NB logs, Bil-Jac liver
treats), replacement squeakers, clickers, sometimes small pamphlets about
doggie first aid/safety or how to troubleshoot basic training/behavioral
issues, etc. The ones we got for coming in at (or near) the top of the
class had more stuff - more interesting toys, gift certificate to some dog
store, greenies, etc.
If you're going to buy toys in bulk, I'd say that you check out the PetEdge
catalog - lots of stuff for real cheap. PetFoodDirect has a 22% off coupon
right now, in case there is food/treats you'd like to get without it costing
an arm and a leg.
