i really appreciate everybody's support here. i love my harv and even
though all of this really really sucks, what else is there to do? he's

Okay, this is your life and your dog and your decision but at the risk of being seen as the devil incarnate, can I present another side?
You are exhausted. You are worried about falling asleep while you're driving. You are probably not the world's greatest employee at the moment. You are having no life except for worrying about Harv. And you have another dog who also needs your attention.
Maybe you need to start thinking about how much more you can possibly put into this situation before you decide it's just too much. You've given Harv a wonderful year. You really have been a hero. Maybe you need to be able to focus again on Luce and yourself. Maybe it needs to be enough.
