A Belated 'Thank You' to everyone!

Hey all you great group of canine lovers, I am sorry it took a bit to come
back to tell ya'll just how very much your words of kindness and compassion
you all sent our way, after Zack left us, meant so much and greatly helped
us all.
It made a huge difference, especially when most of the face to face ppl that
I told about it, kinda just said, "Oh too bad, maybe a new pup ought to fix
that right up".
Yes, well-meaning and appreciated, but they don't*know* like you all here.

In a way, it really surprised me just how hard it hit, not til last nite,
actually before I sat here sobbing and screaming at God to do such a
horrible thing as to let him go without having me hold him as he passed, not
having him pass in my arms, with all the love I could give him, along with a
huge roll of *liverwurst*, one of his faves.
I think because I dropped him at vet's on Friday, calling Sat. with them
telling me, if he kept up the way he was, he'd be home on Mondy,
bt.......then the utter shock to hear that he'd gone on without me with him,
loving him right *there*.
Not that it was any easier with Rudy, but at least I knew it was
coming....Zack was a surprise. He wasn't bloated with fluids, until Friday
a.m., which is when I found out what it was at the vet's.

Anyway, I know this a very long overdue note to all who were there for me,
and Da Smiff Den, and ya'll were in my hearts to help me get through it.
