I got my Dalmatian, Jake, from Craig's List. The owner remarked that I was
the only person whose response didn't set off "BREEDER BREEDER BREEDER"
alarms.
I agree, the Pet section on Craig's List is pure torture. I counter the
effects by visiting the Recent Adoptees sections of my local shelters.,
knowing that they are trying and often achieving successful placements.
