The sit-stay is a basic exercise that all dogs should know. I invite
you to share your knowledge in this regard.
I have limited experience but I've had 4 dogs in my lifetime thus far 1
cavalier <sp> king charles spaniel for 11 years, then a pure staffishire 4
years, He was uncontrolable for a girl of my age at the time, so I gave him
to the nice guy who bred him as his two main breeding bitches got stolen.
A rottie x mastif gorgeos girl.R.I.P Zara two years.
My current dog pit bull x boxer rescue 3 years. he is great with voice
commands and hand gestures.
I find Sit is easy, staying can be a whee bit difficult with food but thats
how I control him and he smiles at me before he eats < He really grins>
untill I tell him he can have it.
But yes it is good to teach sit, stay as early as possible.
