Is there anything available where tech support isn't based in India? If
so, I haven't found it yet.
!!! Lots of tech support is based in countries other than
India, including the US. There's even quite a bit of tech
support outsourced to Canada.
I don't care if they speak Canadian, as long as they speak english well
enough that we don't have a fiasco like the last time. I had a fan out on
my new dell computer (Had not even been turned on even a dozen times)
The tech support had it shipped back for fan replacement, and they KEPT it.
They took the computer, resold it, and I had to fight them to get a
replacement.
It's a good thing it was new and hadn't been moved into. I'd have lost all
my information.
All because the Indian Tech support spoke such mangled english we couldn't
communicate.
