To the weather gods

Umm. Excuse me, I don't mean to complain, but could you guys maybe ease up on the precipitation just a little? Or else drop the temperature a few degrees so at least the mud would freeze?

I wouldn't ask for myself, it's just that my dogs really miss flyball practice and hiking and the lack of exercise is getting to them. Zane and Cooper have been being quite rude to each other and I'm getting tired of intervening in squabbles over things like, "Yeah, I growled at him. He was eyeballing me".

So if you guys could see your way clear to answering your humble disciple's prayers, I'd be most grateful, and will burn incense in your honor. Or at least spray some Holiday Scented Air Freshener.
