we're just going to take it out.

on friday.

i'm trying to not freak out.

Poor Harv, and poor you. I'd be freaking out, too, but I think
Karla is right. Harvey will surely feel better without the eye, and
losing it is not likely to have a huge negative impact on his
quality of life.

definitely. he can't see out of it anyway, so it's not like he's
losing anything important.

Please to be mooshing him and giving him kisses from me.

definitely. he's currently exhausted, having spent the entire morning
wigging out in his kennel at work. argh!

we'll keep an eye on it.

Bad pun!

and totally unintentional. i swear it!

I think Harv will actually feel better after it's done.
I just returned from the vet with Devon, and I have to put two types of
drops in her eye for one week.
I took her to the vet because she suddenly started having trouble pooping.
She would get all hunched up and nothing would come out. Actually, I
thought she was constipated.
Today, I also noticed she had a little junk coming out of one eye. I
cleaned her eye on the way into the vet, and then noticed it had closed up
when in the office. He examined the eye and discovered an ulcer (scratch)
on her eyeball, so now she is on antibiotics and the two eye drops.
Regarding her poop problem, the vet said she had colitis. She has been put
on a bland diet and Pepcid. I have to take her back in one week. She
seems to feel fine, otherwise. She gobbled up her bland diet just now and
seemed to like it.
