harv's eye was looking really awesome and then it started looking
really horrible again. i went back to twice a day eyedrops, but then
he started squinting and rubbing at it. i took him in this morning and
the pressure in his eye was very high. poor guy. he's non-visual in
that eye and has been for as long as i've had him, so i'm not going to
bother with an opthalmologist consult and treatment. we're just going
to take it out.
on friday.
i'm trying to not freak out.
I'd be freaking out too, even though i know Harv won't be bothered much
=========having a single eye.
he won't be bothered at all. and honestly, i'm not all that bothered
by the idea of him having one eye. it's the surgery/anesthesia part
i'm all kinds of anxious about!

I have a friend who adopted a beautiful Boston Terrier that had to have both
eyes removed. I just love the dog.
He had previously gotten hit by a car and became blind in both eyes, and the
owner turned him in to the rescue.
My friend rescued him and eventually had both eyes removed because they were
bulging and getting banged up when He bumped into things. He still looks
good. The minute he hears my voice he comes looking for me, his head
turning every direction to hear where my voice is coming from.
