It's funny, because Whiskey has been following Kali around, protecting
her,
crawling under the shed with her, etc., the last four or five days.
Robin
told me that this morning, how Whiskey has been hovering around/over
Kali.

It's going to be soon!

You'll

have to copy and paste that URL, but it's a start.

Can you tell me how I find when the puppies were first being born? It seems
like these posts are after the puppies were born already. I'm not real good
at reading groups through google. I get confused, especially since they
changed their format. Years ago I could follow it better, but it seems like
lately I've found it more and more confusing.

You know what was really sad today? Robin had to take Kali to Wake Forrest
to meet this particular spay van. It's about a 30 minute drive to another
small town. Robin said 'all the way there Kali was crying, trying to climb
in her lap, jumping all around the front seat and crying.' She had the
twins in their car seats in the back, so Kali was up front with her. On the
way home again, she said 'Kali curled up in a ball on the passenger seat and
slept contentedly.' Robin said it was then that it dawned on her that the
last time kali had been in a car was mostly likely when she was dumped off
here in the country.' So when they first set out, Kali probably thought she
was getting dumped off again. :(( Robin just about cried when she told
me that and I too was just about in tears listening. Robin said 'it was at
that point that she calmed down about the impending puppies and all, simply
accepting and feeling good about the fact that Kali was safe and not getting
dumped again. She said 'once we got back in the car to come back home
again, it was like Kali finally realized she too was coming back home
again.'
