In Germany nearly all "northern dogs" are called "Huskies" and yes, I know
that is wrong.

So, if I understand you correctly, the "curved up to the head" (third
picture at http://www.adrk.de/5_rutenhaltung.htm) would be the "Husky-like"
pose.
