WHOA! Back the trolley up there Nellie. <G>
Where are your glasses? Or perhaps it's your comprehension?
Methinks it sounds too much like paranoia, where did you find *my*
'overblown, overwrought over reaction' in this mild note about what I have
heard about halties?
"MaryBeth <have heard of a few problems with dogs getting hurt with the
'halties' type collars, pertaining to neck damage>"
This is a TRUE statement, I've *heard* of a few dogs having problems with
these". Not here but in real life.
Yes, I've used a prong collar on my lab gal for a short time, and tried the
slip chain but she pulled too hard to use it, I tossed it for the prong. She
NEVER pulled on it therefore never harmed herself.
But now all three, if they even NEED to be leashed, (as in by the law), they
all are on regular collars. Round leather on the golden, (for longish hair),
and round collars to match their round leashes. No prongs, no muzzles, no
spikes, nada.
Talk about over reactons. <heh>
It's been over 6 or more years since I've needed anything but. <shrug>
You sure do sound like you're a bit too defensive, there bud. Count to ten,
have a cup of tea, a warm bath, a glass of wine, whatever. :)
