Hah. Hahahahah. If only... the numbers of tiny shelties (which everyone MUST
have for the 12" class!!) seems to be growing exponentially. I'm seeing dogs
coming from the "hot" breeders that look (and act) identical to puppy mill
rescues - fine bird bones, no coat, domey heads, prick ears, snipey muzzles,
and of course, ridiculously high strung. While I'm no fan of the overdone,
clunky, heavy bone and coat dogs that are popular in the show ring, I'm
fairly disgusted at what is being churned out for sport. Everyone's gotta
have that tiny sheltie to make the world team, yanno. The famous handlers
have them so they can fly them as demo dogs for seminars, and the wannabees
gotta get them too.
