Pitties do get bad press, but most of them are exceedingly friendly to
people. This one instantly made friends with everyone in the office. I've
actually never met a pit bull that wasn't friendly.

We did find him -- he lives right around the corner, as it happens. He's
a student with lots of roommates, and thinks one of them must have left a
door ajar while he (the owner) was at work.

I was sorry to see him go! It's nice to have a dog at the office.
