Re: Dem Eye-o-wah kitties!

The sadness I remembered in the book was when Tim had to move his dad to the
assisted living place.

It is hard for news people when "the show must go on" no matter how you are
feeling.

Cory, am sorry for your loss and know the remembering can be painful.

Speaking of Iowa, I just read at cnn.com that the city of Des Moines is
under a voluntary evacuation at the moment because of all the flooding
there.

I live in the 'burbs of Madison, FWIW. I spent a year in a physical
rehab facility in Sun Prairie (I don't get back there anymore) a couple
of years ago because of problems associated with my disability (I was
born with Spina Bifida)

Here, take a look at this map from NOAA's National Weather Service
Weather Forecast Office... this'll spook you but good... and no, those
dark blue areas are NOT any type of misprint. Those are accurate
totals.

--- Unca Cory, watching Tom Brokaw honor Tim Russert in NBC's Special
Edition of Dateline(???) right now, and trying to keep himself (Brokaw)
composed... and trying not to lose it, myself (today is also the
anniversary of my brother's death. Ron wasn't much interested in
journalism or politics in the USofA, but I can't help but have this
image in my head at the moment of Ron showing Tim Russert around The
Great Beyond).
