My son called me at 11:30 last night to ask what we were going to do about
lunch today? They have company from Missouri at their house. I took this
as a "help call. I got up and put two chickens, still frozen in the crock
pot. I tell you to say that a miracle happened in my kitchen. I actually
deboned two chickens, chopped veggies and made noodles with no cats in the
way. It is cold in the house, the wind and all but I thought the smell of
the chicken would bring them out.
This is not to say they were being good, I just walked in the hall and
stepped on my container of shaved turkey. While I was telling them they
were good to stay out of the way, they were in the hall eating my Turkey.
