Something with lamb in it. I love lamb; it's not often served in restaurants here, and I had some great lamb dishes in the UK.
Yorkshire pudding is always nice, and cream tea. Mmmmm, I love that. Fish and chips....it has to be done really well for me to enjoy it, and I am on the east coast of Canada, so I've had some good fish and chips and my standards are high.
Oh, and shortbread. That's Scottish, isn't it?
I've also had some nice salads in England, including one about which the hostess's husband asked in all innocence 'Why are there flowers in the salad?' I assume from that that edible flowers are not a common part of UK food!
