Re: OT Brit food

There's a funny story in my family about my mother's cooking.

For the record, my grandmother came from Cornwall, so that's the cooking that my father grew up with.

My mother grew up in an Italian neighborhood in New Jersey. A couple of weeks after they married, my father said, 'You sure don't cook like my mother. Thank God!'

Actually, I've had some pretty good British food, but I got most of the recipes from Two Fat Ladies. Yum.
