AS you all know I live in Volusia County Florida in between Daytona
Beach and the Mouse House in Orlando. WE have had over 35 inches of
rain in a little over five days. It is still raining and has been for 7
days. Heavy Storms have been blowing in very late at night going between
35 and 45mph causing heavy lightning strikes and tornadoes.
The vehicle that sit in my Drive way for my needed out of retirement
car service job had water up to the bottom of the car. I had to move it
farther back if it would have been at the low part of the drive way it
would have been almost over the hood. The water got so high that at the
garbage cans were floating down the street and they were fully loaded. I
am lucky I had my house built up higher and father back on the property.
The water has receded quickly in my area but water is still free
standing all over. There have been tons of reports that alligators have
been seen swimming in the streets


The Daytona Beach airport this morning alone has gotten 20 inches of
rain TODAY


Hmmmmmmmm, I'm flashing back to central Indiana, about 1 year ago (just
about 2 weeks shy of 1 year ago, AAMOF).
