So I bite the bullet and asked him to install a new one for me. But I
have to wait till tomorrow at the earliest to get it.
It will cost me a small fortune too. Hopefully it is more energy
efficient.

This is right in the smack of winter. The temp. outside was in the
-20s C.
With no buses running yet, I waited till my neighbour got home to give
me a ride to
Walmart to get a space heater. But it is still a bit chilly. Wish I
have a fur coat like
Rusty's. It doesn't bother him one bit.
