Dear fellow kitties, be very careful. Your mommies and daddies and grandmas
may sweet talk you and tickle you in places you like, and give you treats
and nip, but behind it all may be a BIG NEEDLE THAT THEY STICK IN YOU and
expect you to just put up with it!!
I have always prided my self on being a civilized gentlemen, but by Ceiling
Cat, THERE ARE LIMITS!!!
Is this the thanks I get for almost 17 years of devoted mousie and greebling
control, relaxation therapy, rather high-level comedy, if I say so myself,
and endless snuggles, kisses and purrs?
Up with it I shall not put!!!
Stinky
Theresa here:
Oh my darling, if only I could make you understand.
And he didn't. As I feared, on his home turf, Stinky was a much tougher
patient than in the vet's office. Even with Mom helping, I failed twice to
get him to keep still, get the line to stay in, managed to spray us all
with subQ fluid, and got Stinky thoroughly PO'd with us-- making those
jungle-cat noises, as we tried to hold him.
I'm actually feeling frustrated as I read all these web accounts of how
"easily" different cats take their treatment. I feel so useless. I think
I'd rather read some accounts of cats who were tough at first, and
improved.
I know I've asked for much more than our share of purrs in the past few
days, but it's for everybody'd pal, Stinky. Please, please keep 'em coming.
