OT: Surgery - thank you!!!

Hi there:

Thank you all for your kind and caring words. I'd been so busy that I hadn't really recognized how concerned I was until I started reading your posts and got all teary. I will think of you all and your purring kitties while I'm waiting and recovering. I am admitted at 10:45 AM tomorrow though likely won't see surgery for a couple of hours after that.

I've been practicing not picking up Andrew and its not at all easy. Even when he leans against me while I'm sitting down, he lurches and pulls since he's so unsteady. Not holding my baby will be the hardest part for both of us. It'll be a long 8 weeks.

BTW, he had his vaccinations today and was 26 pounds 13 ounces at a year. That makes him a very big boy :-)

Raced around all day doing last minute things - one of which was taking my other two sick ones to the doc. Jane likely has pneumonia though has been on antibiotics and appears to be on the mend. Sam just has a savage cold. Poor kids :-(
