Considerate Persia

I wasn't feeling very well yesterday; I watched some TV last night and read
for a couple of hours. I was tired and just too lazy to get up off the
couch, so I pulled the knitted afghan over me and fell asleep. Persia was
snoozing in her little pyramid bed.

In the wee hours of the morning she got the zoomies. In the dim recesses of
my mind I could hear her dashing around. I heard crinkly mylar ball action
going on for a bit. But *not once* did my considerate girl use me as a
springboard, jarring me awake (with a resounding "oooomph!") as a 16 1b. cat
caused the air to rush out of my body :) When she was tired of playing she
climbed up on me and hunkered down on my stomach, sphinx-fashion, purring
and looking at me with those big green eyes slowly blinking. I gave her
sleepy scritches and drifted back to sleep, content.
