We had a tornado! Or "a tornado-like event," as the meteorologists

J*sus!!! That's unbelievable. Yep, as Jill said, it's a tornado.
What else could do that kind of damage? (Wait, don't answer that...)

Sounds like the one that wrecked a street in London a few months
ago. The south of England gets about as many tornadoes as the US
Midwest, though usually they're not very big. But people seem to
think being in a city means that sort of stuff can't happen to them.
In fact North London has about the highest risk for severe wind
damage to buildings of any place in Europe.

Hurricanes in NYC, kangaroos in Biloxi. You have to wonder what
the vial of the third angel is going to be. Epidemic dandruff?

This is not even the first tornado in a two week period. One hit out on
the Island last week. Lifted a truck and threw it across a yard.
