After I saw that movie Waiting I could not help but ROFLMAO when the
couple
walked in 3 minutes before close and ordered a full course meal. What the
cooks did to his food ;-)

I'm a little embarrassed to reveal this to y'all, but when I was
working as a journeyman checker in a really fast paced grocery store
up in Klamath Falls, Oregon, there was this really nasty gentleman
(and I use the word gentleman loosely) who always seemed to want to
come through my check out. His name was Rusty and he always purchased
a case of beer, 6 packs of Camel non filter cigarettes, a loaf of
bread and some lunch meat. After taking his wadded up grubby bills
and handing him his receipt, he made a point of turning around and
calling me an *** and a ***. Yea, real nice guy. After a few
weeks of this, I decided enough is enough.......so upon bagging his
fresh loaf of bread, before I pulled my hand away, I jabbed the bottom
of the loaf with my fingernail in a sort of gouging motion. I'm sure
that within a day or two, the bread loaf would be rock hard on the
bottom. Eventually Rusty stopped coming through my check out, but he
still shouted cuss words at me as he left the store from a few check
stands away from me.

Screw him. The crotchety old fart.

Huh he would have been bounced out on his a@@ the first time he did that in
one of my stores.

I have a wall of shame in one of my stores. It has all the banned people
that have been a@@jacks or shoplifters on it. On the bottom of the frame is
a reward poster saying if you spot one of these people before security does
you get a free prize.

When someone is banned from the store I get law enforcement involved and
have trespassing citations issued. I have had a few decide to come back and
think they are smart and try it again. I have handed out a few prizes
usually a free combo meal from the deli or if they have a sweet tooth a
small flat cake.

I have many of parents come in that their teenagers were caught stealing say
they are good kids and need another chance. Nope my daddy taught me you
make your bed everyday and have to lay in it every night.
