I think fireworks here are pretty well confined to specific, licensed displays (and the rules are being strictly enforced). Campfires are verbotten, too, and off-duty firemen remain on call. With humidity in the single digits, and an expected high temperature of 116 F today, wildfires are a distinct possibility, and they are taking no chances! (If fires happen, they won't be any that could have been prevented.)
