I hope none of you have got one, if you have, it's not me.

We wouldn't think it was you anyway, I'd just shrug and say "Spam"

A few years back I had to close an email account with BTinternet
because I just couldn't wade through the stuff. Funnily enough, while
Dave seemed to be getting a lot of spam at the time asking if he would
like bigger breasts, I got a load of mail asking if I would like my
c==k enlarged! If it wasn't for the fact that you NEVER reply to these
people I think I would have emailed back along the lines of: "I have
no problem with the size of my c==k but can you do something about the
man attached to it?" the bit that really annoyed both of us is we
traced the whole thing back to a website where we had done some sort
of test to work out the best way we studied and had to submit our
email addresses to get results. We were directed to that test by the
Open University whom we were studying with at the time! Yes we did
complain

When Dave was in hospital and I used his email, I had a spate of spam
about share dealings (as if I 1. Have enough spare cash to risk on
shares (My youngest brother calls shares "A form of legal gambling"
and he works with them)and 2. If I did want to risk money, I'd throw
it at an unsolicted email rather than contacting my financial
advisor?)

It's just an unpleasant fact of life online. Keep your virus check up
to date etc (Last Sunday I ran, as I always do as soon as I log on a
virus check (Dave's paranoid and it rubbed off on me!) then last night
I just needed to quickly check something on my PC and didn't bother. I
was on less than 10 minutes and went to one website and when I checked
today I had 18 keystroke trackers!) and never eply to them, that's my
motto
