I get home from classes this afternoon, and lay down on the bed for a
moment (okay, a long 'moment').
Within a few minutes, I have Little Feet with his paws and head on my
left shoulder, Little Boy with half his body on my right shoulder and
upper arm, Bucky with a paw on my left ankle and his face against my
left foot, and Dulce Mae stretched across my righ knee.
I am well and truly held down and kept from floating away, not to
mention completely surrounded. Why, were it not for these helpful
cats, Senyah might have to scrape me off the ceiling!
Of course, this is also the excuse... er reason, that I give for
delaying the weekend's laundry, and I claim that the purrs soothed me
into a nap. Honest! It's not my fault!
Caliban is very good at holding me down, too. Just this morning he made sure I didn't float away from my bed. He uses his whole body to hold me down. Miranda just puts her head on my leg, and her powerful brain waves take care of the rest. ;)
