Oh, I'm glad you've had that checked out. It must be frustrating that
nobody knows what's causing it. On the other hand, knowing you can rule
out a number of nasty possibilities must be a relief, I would guess!

Yep on both counts.

Ooo, might want to get that looked at. (I know - the doctor's office,
just where you want to go.) As we all know on this ng, cat bites that
are deep and that get infected aren't anything to fool with.

So I struggled outside today, dealing with the buses, being hot, in pain 'cause I wanted to run to the doctor instead of take the pain meds (big mistake) and showed up without appointment at my clinic. They couldn't squeeze me in (grrrrr} until tomorrow. The nurse saw me and told me to keep warm compresses on it, try to get it to drain, and if my whole arm starts swelling or I see ride lines emanating from the bite, it's straight to the ER. Just what I need -- another $250 co-pay. So I'm here typing slowly with a washcloth over my arm, Cosmo having decided my whining was too much for him (no apologies forthcoming, either -- huh!) and wanting out, and all other cats out of the bedroom. Maybe it's safer that way! But it's still lonely -- I need fuzzies to cuddle with, darn it! Of course yesterday, I had at one point seven out of nine, so I guess I shouldn't complain ;-)

You poor thing, your body has sustained a lot of abuse recently!

I'd suggest cuddling up with some cats to relax, but that might not be
safe! :-/

More purrs,
Joyce

Thanks everyone for your purrs etc. I am going to go get my washcloth warm again, feed the kitties in a few, and watch "Lost" (my favorite show).
