It's thundering. BOOM! Lightning. CRACK! Pouring down rain. And
Persia isn't hiding in the closet! What suddenly turned my timid
girl brave? Inquiring minds want to know ;)
If my gray girlcat didn't hide during a storm, I'd be asking the same
question! Baby Eyes is terrified of thunder and lightning. I think
it's because when she was an IBK she lived with some dogs who were
like that. Maybe they can eventually get over early impressions, and
Persia has done so.
You may well be right! It's been six years since she's been on the big OUT
(except for that one time she ran outside and I lost her for 24 hours). She
was probably used to hiding under bushes and stuff but didn't like the sound
of storms because it meant getting all wet and hiding under bushes. Today
she doesn't seem to care if it's thundering and raining. She knows she has
secure haven here and her forever home.
