I'm impressed with your flexibility with venues and lifestyles. Purrs
for Jim to enjoy his rest and not ding himself.
Hi Tak,
It's not as spontaneous or easy as you might think. We already had an empty
lot in a new development when we left on our trip. We planned to build
after we returned. Apparently, we have returned.
We had planned and worked on Genesis for years before we started our
live-aboard cruising. We didn't just jump on a boat and go. Not being able
to continue our cruise is a huge disappointment, but we have had learned the
life is a series of detours with lots of potholes.
We plan carefully, but we usually have a "Plan B," too.
Whatever happens, we try to remember what is really important.
What puts things into perspective is that a week ago Sunday night, all that
mattered to me was whether Jim would still be with me on Monday morning. We
were blindsided by this one.
I'm so grateful that he made it and we can go on. I don't have a Plan B for
the alternative.
Annie
