OT: mom update

Mom had her surgery this morning, after being turned away at the hospital last night due to a miscommunication on their part. She was released immediately and is resting umcomfortably (her words) at my sister's house. Another sister spoke with the surgeon and he said everything went ok. Now it's just a matter to wait for the gas to dissipate so my mom can stop having to be face-down all the time.
