I finally managed to get our local family of ferals off the the vet -
Mrs. Wiggleworm, her daughter, and the daughter's two kittens.
They have been boarded since Wednesday, and I pick them next
Wednesday.
The little ones were the hardest to catch, although daughter kitty was
more than willing to get comfortable in the carrier. In fact, that is
eventually how the kittens were caught - they wanted to see what mama
was doing. Mrs. Wiggleworm didn't particularly want in a carrier, but
relaxed after a few moments.
Little Feet and Dulce Mae, who witnessed the whole thing through the
window, were mad at me - mostly because I came back smelling like the
vet, and like other cats, but they got over it by evening.
Hopefully we will at least cut down on the kitten population just a
little bit...
Hugs and Purrs,

I keep trying to convice Weeble's MamaKat to let us catch her, and then she
can spend the rest of her days lounging about, catching only what critters
she needs to survive (but we would also put food out for her), and not have
to fight of all the boy-kitties... nor worry about any more babies...
But the dang Hoe just won't listen. Just like any other 'welfare mother',
she just keeps on......
We don't see her very often any more - maybe once a month or so. When we do
see her we give her food, but that's about it. She probably got tires of
our lectures :D
