Well, sooner or later, it'll make its way over here. Smudge might have
to become an indoor-only kitty, which she will hate. I hope that doesn't
become necessary, but if it does, I will certainly do it!

birds.
The researchers recommended that cats be kept away from infected birds
or their droppings, and they recommend quarantine if felines come in
contact with the virus.
The deadly strain surfaced in Asia in 2003. It has recently spread to
Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
