OT: I passed!

I finally took my insurance licensing exam this morning and passed it.
(kudos to me! LOL) Now I just have to convince my dad it doesn't mean
"instant job". In fact, yes, I passed the exam but no, I am not yet
licensed. All the appropriate paperwork plus money for the State had to be
taken with me to the testing center. *They* will submit the paperwork to
the State. I don't get my license until the State processes the stuff and
sends it to me in the mail. And even then, it's not a job guarantee. I'm
pretty sure he doesn't understand that. Oh well.
OB Cats: On the way home I noticed a big sign in Shelby Farms - "Future
Home of the New Shelby County Humane Society". Oh great, only three miles
from my home there will soon be a shelter filled with dogs and cats needing
adoption! Okay, this is a good thing since the shelters are usually filled
to capacity, especially after taking in animals in the aftermath of
Hurricane Katrina. But it's not good for me if I get bored one day and
decide to go look at the animals! Purrs to keep me away from there except
to give donations of pet food & supplies! :)
