Tyche is a piggy, but she understands that bowls get empty and will be
re filled. Kumani and Nocturne like to nibble throughout the day and
don't like the "morning rush."
But Smokey still remembers having nothing to eat, and so he's got this
"food fetish." The sight of five empty food bowls sends him into
screaming fits, and he NEEDS food to appear in the morning (so much for
sleeping till noon). We free-feed just to avoid the eardrum trauma,
because he can, and has, kept it up for hours--at the end point,
starting to bite to demand food, and you can hear him in other
apartments.
The funny thing is when he will whine and sing to get breakfast, and
you got to feed him and two bowls are still full...he just had to know
there WILL be food if it was needed...
