I'm so glad to hear your dentist was able to glue the piece back, but I'm sorry to hear it will take so long (and will be so expensive) for you to get the tooth implant,

I rang for a dentist's appointment first thing yesterday morning, and was given one on 2nd January. Oh great, Yule without a front tooth, I wouldn't be able to eat any of the yummy Yule food. But later in the day, my dentist rang me and said she'd noticed I had made an appointment, what was the problem and would I like to come in today? Isn't she wonderful? It's a private practice, so it costs a lot, but if I'd gone to the public health dentist, I'd have had to wait much longer, and I'm not even sure they would do this kind of job.
Anyhoo, my dentist glued the piece back temporarily, and in January she will extract it and start the process for an implant (I'll have to have a temporary implant for 4-6 months first, to let the bone set before the permanent implant is, well, implanted).
Well, I should at least be able to sample some Yule goodies, as long as I do it very gingerly. And I won't scare the kids with a gap instead of my front tooth (what kids? My youngest niece is 16).
