Good one Francis

06.30am

Francis wakes me.

He's very agitated.

Meowing, running to the front door... meowing.. running back to me... in full "What's that, Skippy? You want me to do what?"

So I open the front door.

Francis runs out straight to our garage and sits in front of it... *howling*

Francis runs back to me and *howls*

So I wander over to the garage door & I hear tiny meows...

I rush back into the house, get a torch & the key to unlock the garage, followed by a meowing Francis, who now is followed by an inquisitive Marble

I unlock the garage.

As soon as the door is raised by a foot - out it shoots!

A little tortie ladycat!

She runs off towards a neighbour's house.

When about 20 yards from me, she stops, turns, looks at me and meows, and then continues on her way, tail held high.

So Francis really was in a sort of "What's that Skippy? Kids stuck down the mineshaft? Well let's get them out of there!" mode.

Wonder if it's his girlfriend I rescued...
